ELLIS MHAIRI CAMERON studied for a BA in Jewelry & Silversmithing at The Glasgow School of Art, before completing an MA in Jewelry Design at Central Saint Martins. Ellis creates sculptural gold jewelry inspired by her Scottish heritage. Growing up in the Highlands of Scotland, she fell in love with its history: the ancient buildings, the rugged seascape, and ancient artifacts which have been found buried within the earth. Ellis uses traditional techniques and hand skills to give her pieces their signature erosive aesthetic. To ensure accountability, every piece is created in her London studio from recycled gold and traceable diamonds.
